MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans released a new logo Wednesday to celebrate 25 seasons in the Grand Strand.

This new logo will be featured in various uses throughout the 2024 season, according to the team.

This new logo centers on the Pelican head logo and “25 SEASONS” and includes elements from the club’s primary logo while adding a new spin to signify the milestone.

New elements include four starts representing each league championship the team has won. It also features a diamond and a silver tone marking the “silver anniversary.”

The team says fans will see this logo throughout the season, including on its commemorative ticket giveaway on April 6 and merchandise that will be available soon.

The Pelicans have won four league championships, six division titles and have seen 214 former Pelicans make their Major League debut since the team debuted in 1999.

The team opens the 2024 season at home against Fayetteville Woodpeckers on April 5.
