Bicyclist killed in Georgetown County crash

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A bicyclist died in a Sunday morning crash near the Georgetown area, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 10:06 a.m. on Highway 51.
A 2004 Toyota sedan hit the bicyclist from behind, killing them, Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said.
The driver of the sedan was not hurt.
The name of the bicyclist has not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
