NEW: Pair of vacationers who drowned off Myrtle Beach coasts identified

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) — Authorities have identified a pair of men who drowned off the shores of Myrtle Beach this week, prompting officials to close the water Saturday.
Joe Kapusta,73, of Hermitage, PA was reportedly in cardiac arrest while being pulled from the water by lifeguards around 1:30 p.m. near the 30th N Avenue beach access point. Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate Kapusta before transporting the him to Grand Strand Medical, where he was later pronounced dead.
Zerihun Wolde,41, of Silver Spring, MD reportedly drowned Friday off the beach at 9th Avenue South in Myrtle Beach. He also was rushed to Grand Strand Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. He was vacationing in the area with family.
Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue issued a no swimming advisory Saturday, citing an extreme longshore current.
Myrtle Beach Police are still investigating both drownings.
