Erica Lunsford is a Multimedia Journalist and Reporter. She joined the WBTV team in January of 2023 after leaving CBS 8 WVLT in Knoxville, TN. She's glad to be closer to her hometown of Durham, NC.
In 2016 she graduated from William Peace University in Raleigh, NC with a bachelor's degree in communications and media studies.
Following her graduation started her career in news working as a production assistant for ABC 11 WTVD until she landed her first on-air job at ABC 4 WCIV in Charleston, SC.
She is looking forward to sharing the voices of the Charlotte community and exploring Queen City.
When she's not at work, she loves to spend time with her pet rabbit named Mocha and grabbing something good to eat.
