FIRST ALERT: Clouds return Friday, more storm chances over the weekend

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - After a brief break from the rain, more storms arrive over the weekend.

FRIDAY

Clouds will increase throughout Friday, but rain chances will remain slim. We expect only a couple of showers to develop into the afternoon. Afternoon highs will climb back into the lower 80s.

Scattered storms are likely Saturday afternoon(WMBF)

Rain chances will ramp up into the weekend as our next storm system arrives. Expect mainly cloudy skies on both Saturday and Sunday, with occasional downpours and storms, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. The best coverage of storms will arrive Saturday afternoon, but we’ll keep a few storms in the forecast for Sunday.
