FIRST ALERT: Stray evening shower, mild and dry to end the week
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - An isolated shower will be possible this evening before mild and dry weather returns to end the week.
TONIGHT
A weak cold front will push into the region late this evening and overnight. While no widespread rain or thunderstorms are expected, a stray shower or sprinkle will be possible in one or two locations, but most areas will stay dry with rain chances at only 20%. Temperatures tonight will drop into the middle and upper 50s.

REST OF THE WEEK
The weak cold front will push off shore before sunrise on Thursday and will help to usher in only slightly cooler temperatures. Thursday will turn out mostly sunny with afternoon temperatures in the middle 70s on the beach and middle to upper 70s inland.
Friday will end up a few degrees cooler again with afternoon temperatures near 70 along the Grand Strand and into the middle 70s across the Pee Dee.
THIS WEEKEND
A gradual warming trend arrives this weekend. Saturday will see afternoon temperatures reach into the middle and upper 70s. A slight increase in moisture on Saturday could result in a stray afternoon shower, but most areas will stay dry with rain chances at only 20%.
Sunday will be a dry and sunny day and will also see temperatures warming a few degrees. Temperatures at the beach will reach the middle to upper 70s while inland areas reach the upper 70s to near 80.
