Myrtle Beach Classic offering new ‘Club 17′ VIP experience
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - This year’s Myrtle Beach Classic will be offering a new VIP experience for fans as the PGA Tour makes its way to the Grand Strand.
Tournament organizers announced Thursday that “Club 17″ will be an additional option for those looking to catch action at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. The hospitality venue will be placed directly behind the 17th tee and will include settings for dining, golf and entertainment.
It follows the Club 18 package, which will also have a venue behind the 18th green.
Club 17 will also include an elevated outdoor seating deck with views of the 11th, 16th, 17th and 18th holes along with an open bar and food.
Tickets for Club 17 go on sale Jan. 29.
The Myrtle Beach Classic tees off from May 9-12 and will be the first PGA Tour event to take place in the Myrtle Beach area.
