Vanna White makes stop in hometown, dines at North Myrtle Beach restaurant
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A North Myrtle Beach restaurant didn’t have to buy a vowel in order to get a special visit from a celebrity host.
Flynn’s Irish Tavern posted a picture on its Facebook page on Monday showing its special guest and asking folks if they knew who she was. And it didn’t take long for people to solve the puzzle.
It was North Myrtle Beach native Vanna White who made a stop at restaurant on Main Street.
Flynn Irish Tavern said the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host has dined with them in the past and they even have a signed picture of her in the restaurant.
They added that a patron recognized her sitting with her brother and went up and asked for a picture. The patron said it was her beautiful smile that gave her away.
“She was nice and let everyone take a picture with her,” Flynn’s Irish Restaurant told WMBF News.
White has been on the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ game show since it debuted in 1983. Her and co-host Pat Sajak are the longest-running game show hosts in American television history.
