FIRST ALERT: More rounds of rain expected through the weekend
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Our active weather pattern continues with more rain through the weekend.
WEDNESDAY
We’ll start Wednesday under mostly sunny skies, but grab the rain gear early. We’re expecting another round of scattered downpours and storms on Wednesday afternoon, winding down through sunset. The clouds and rain will hold temperatures down, only climbing to around 80°.
END OF THE WORK WEEK
Thursday and Friday will be the driest days through the weekend as rain chances briefly dip. Clouds will linger, especially into Friday, but most of us remain dry.
SOGGY WEEKEND
Our next storm system arrives on Saturday and looks to linger through the weekend. This means mainly cloudy skies on Saturday and Sunday with rounds of downpours. While not a complete washout, we’ll keep the rain chances elevated throughout the weekend. The overcast skies and showers will hold the afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
