Man charged in woman’s shooting death in Darlington County

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (WMBF) - A man is facing charges after allegedly killing a woman in the Pee Dee.
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a shooting on Johnson Street Wednesday, where the woman was found fatally shot. The victim has not been identified as of Friday.
Authorities said the suspect, identified as Terry Carraway, turned himself in.
According to warrants obtained by WMBF News, Carraway is charged with murder along with a pair of weapons charges as well as a count of unlawfully placing a child at risk.
Online records show Carraway is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center as of Friday morning.
