Coroner’s office: Kansas man killed in Horry County motorcycle crash

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The coroner’s office has released the identity of a man from Kansas who died over the weekend in a motorcycle crash near North Myrtle Beach.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Highway 31 near Highway 9.
Horry County Coroner’s Office confirmed the driver’s identity as 21-year-old Tristan Davis.
Davis was riding a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle went off the right side of the road and hit a concrete median, according to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
He was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
