Sheriff’s office: Body found in abandoned Scotland Co. home

SCOTLAND COUNTY N.C. (WMBF) - Deputies are investigating after they discovered a body in an abandoned home Tuesday.
Scotland County Sheriff’s Office Captain Randy Dover confirmed deputies located the body at a home on Old Wire Road in the Laurel Hill area of the county.
Dover said more details about the investigation will be released as it becomes available.
