Carolina Country Music Fest nominated for ACM award

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - For the third year in a row, a country music festival in Myrtle Beach finds itself in the running for a big award.
The Carolina Country Music Fest was nominated for the Academy of Country Music Awards’ “Festival of the Year” category.
Other nominees in the category are the CMC Rocks in Queensland, Crash My Playa in Mexico, Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and the Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, IL.
“Receiving the ACM Festival of the Year nomination for the third year running is an extraordinary honor,” Bob Durkin of Southern Entertainment said. “It’s a testament to the incredible dedication of our fans and the unwavering support of the community and the city of Myrtle Beach. We are profoundly grateful for this recognition.”
