HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Donning “kindness and gloves,” Horry County Fire Rescue crews rescued a stuck kitten on Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to an animal rescue call on Pint Circle in the Longs area.

They got there and found a small gray kitten stuck in a compartment of the car’s engine, poking its head out.

The crew from the Stephens Crossroads station worked together and got the kitten out of there, handing it over to the Horry County Animal Care Center.

“No matter the call, HCFR is here to help,” the fire rescue stated in a Facebook post.
