Myrtle Beach Sun Fun Festival returns this weekend

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach’s unofficial kickoff to the summer season is back in full force this weekend.
The 69th annual Sun Fun Festival starts Friday in the area of Plyer Park and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk on Ocean Boulevard and lasts through Sunday.
The free event will feature a family fun festival area as well as an aerial display from the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team.
Live music from Chris Taylor & The Rumor, Gump Fiction, Swingin’ Medallions and Too Much Syliva is also scheduled throughout the weekend.
