Police investigating Florence shooting; 1 hurt

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Florence police are looking to get to the bottom of a Monday evening shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Officers were called out to the 1100 block of June Lane for the shooting.
At the scene, they found the male victim, who remains in the hospital for medical care.

Police spokesperson Capt. Stephen Starling said the circumstances around the shooting are still being investigated.
Starling added they are looking into some leads.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police.
