Police arrest, charge woman with murder in Hartsville shooting

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - Police have made an arrest after one person died in a Sunday night shooting in Hartsville.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on Logan Avenue. When police arrived on the scene they found a man suffering gunshot wounds inside the home and began life-saving measures while waiting for EMS.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The Hartsville Police Department identified the victim as 57-year-old Anthony Hudson.

Detectives arrested Margie Lee Lighty and charged her with the murder of Huson.
