Earthquake reported near Charlotte airport
The earthquake was a 2.2 magnitude.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport Monday morning.
According to the USGS, it happened around 2:41 a.m. on West Boulevard, close to the railyard by the airport.

The earthquake was a 2.2 magnitude and about 3.8 kilometers deep.
According to officials, earthquakes with a magnitude of less than 2.5 are not typically felt.
