LAURINBURG, NC (WMBF) - Laurinburg police are looking for the suspects behind two drive-by shootings at a home, one of which left two people hurt.

Officers were called around 10:30 p.m. on Monday for shots fired into a home on the 500 block of Second Street.

They were told at the scene someone drove by the home and began shooting, hitting the home. No injuries were reported in the shooting.

However, around 11:15 p.m., police were called back to the same home for a person shot.

Investigators learned after they left, the suspects returned and fired at the home, this time hitting two people, an 18-year-old and a 47-year-old.

Both were taken to the hospital, where the 18-year-old was treated and released.

The 47-year-old was airlifted to a medical trauma center with serious injuries.

Investigators have a person of interest in the case, according to a news release.
