‘Happy Gilmore 2′ starring Adam Sandler officially confirmed at Netflix

(Gray News) – “Happy Gilmore” is officially getting a sequel.

According to reports from Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, “Happy Gilmore 2″ is in the works at Netflix.

Netflix confirmed the film during a presentation to advertisers on Wednesday afternoon in New York.

Adam Sandler is returning as the star.

The 1996 sports comedy remains one of Sandler’s most well-known roles to date.

Netflix didn’t release any further details about the movie.
