Marlboro Co. deputies arrest man in months-long armed robbery investigation

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - Deputies have arrested a man in Marlboro County accused of an armed robbery nearly six months ago.

Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office said in January two men allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in the Bennettsville area. Dominique McDuffie was arrested this week in connection to that investigation. His co-defendant, Jahrel Lester, is already behind bars.

McDuffie was arrested while MCSO’s Uniformed Patrol Division was executing a warrant.

He is being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
