ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - A child died in a Friday night crash in Robeson County, according to the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

A trooper was called out just after 9:30 p.m. to the area of Balance Farm Road and Shaw Mill Road for the crash.

Once on scene, the trooper learned a 1999 GMC pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a 2005 Dodge passenger car, leading to the Dodge running off the road and hitting a ditch, according to a news release from the highway patrol.
